Albury Central is a support network for all CBD traders and our main goal is to maintain the heart of Albury.
We aim to encourage people to shop, eat out and remain connected to the community around us.
We do this by providing a number of services, events and activities throughout the year, so that you...the trader can benefit.
These include:
- Traders Market day – designed to increase foot traffic, sales and add exposure to all CBD traders who participate on the day.
- Emergency Services Day - Traders and their families are able to hear the sirens, see the vehicles and meet the people in a positive environment.
- Christmas Activities (Includes Christmas in the Heart retail promotion, Members night, Window Competition and Christmas family fun day) – All designed to increase foot traffic, add business exposure, free advertising and sales inflation. They encourage community involvement, and an overall sense of business sustainability.
- Albury Central’s Applause Festival - provides opportunities for communities to come together to celebrate and share in cultural and artistic experiences. It also brings economic and social benefits to the region by attracting tourists, involving local businesses and celebrating community identity.
- ‘This Heart will make you Smile’ television commercial, features well known Albury Central faces that represent the many sectors that make up the Albury CBD.
- Heart share activities - Albury Central recognises important dates and events throughout the year and celebrates them in a small but meaningful ways.
- Open house networking functions – Opportunities to showcase your business, while offering neighbouring businesses the chance to snatch up a bargain and network with other CBD retailers.
- Listen to Guest Speakers – designed to provide businesses with the tools and knowledge to grow their retail expertise.
