Albury Central’s Applause Festival was held on Saturday 15th October 2011, and marked the Festival’s 10th Birthday.  The event was deemed a huge success by organisers with thousands of local residents turning out to join in the celebrations.

Every year Albury Central’s Applause Festival supports a local charity with  The Carevan chosen as this year’s beneficiary. 50% of the funds collected through the audience reward buckets of our guest artists go towards the Applause Festival in 2012, and the remaining 50% will go towards The Carevan. 

Through the generosity of the crowds, Albury Central and the Applause Festival are proud to have raised $793.70 for The Carevan. Guest Artists at the 2011 Albury Central Applause Festival included The Mr Spin Show, Pandora Pink, Shep Huntly, Reality TV Me, The Marvellous June, Nick Nicholas and Liqueur Flambe; who all encouraged the audience to give generously.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to support such a worthy cause like The Carevan’,  said Albury Central President Darrin Halcrow. ‘The Carevan is a wonderful support to local residents, and it’s nice to give something back in return,’ he said.
