Caught in the Act: Applause Photography Competition - Download Info and Registration Form

With only 6 weeks to go, our guest artists are booked and our festival busker program is full to overflowing! Our guest artist line up will be announced late September, but be assured, they are a fabulous group of performers with national and international experience.

There are loads of hands-on things to do at this year’s festival:

o Make your mark at the pavement art area

o Cheer on your favourite pub at the Great Applause Waiter’s Race

o Relax in the sun with a game of chess or one of the other board games that “Mind Games” will be bringing along

o Have a go at the free circus skill workshops

o Go crazy at the crazy hair stall

o Purchase an Applause Showbag, full of goodies for kids plus fabulous discounts from Albury Central traders

o Get your face painted

o Take photographs for the inaugural “Caught in the Act” photography competition

Plan to stay for the day. The Final Applause “best of the best” concert starts at 4pm and this is always a great way to end the festival. Our guest artists

each take to the stage plus we invite 3 Festival Buskers to perform. This year, we have another music act which will get you all up and grooving plus we’ll be treated to the Making Magic Festival Performance. This will be the culmination of 6 hours of workshops and rehearsal by 20 kids aged 10-13 who will be learning magic, illusion and stagecraft from one of the masters, Patrick McCullagh.

So, stay tuned for the guest artist line up, the full festival program and other snippets of information and mark Saturday 16th October in your diary now.
